Hi! We’re Nancy & Kaz, co-authors of:
THUMP CLACK BRAY NEIGH BARK Featuring Teddy-a miniature donkey, Bear-a big Pinto horse and Yotee-a cattle dog, our picture book celebrates the story of a boisterous trio of animals brought together to grow and heal in a shared barnyard.
Our LIttleBit standalone picture books feature a spunky kindergartener who resolves the central predicament with creativity and determination. Every time, LittleBit meets a challenge and learns from it, resulting in positive emotional growth and empowerment.
Phoebe Wants to Be many things when she grows up. In each standalone chapter book, a mentor helps eight-year-old Phoebe experience her future dreams. There’s so much Phoebe can be!
We relish writing our engaging stories! The ideas keep coming, so our collection keeps growing!
We are currently seeking representation. We welcome the opportunity to introduce one — or more — of our books!
About the Co-Authors
Nancy and Kaz are long-time friends turned co-authors (…and still friends).
Before Kaz began writing children’s books, she had a career in corporate marketing communications, including freelance writing. She has a BS in Education, and studied Mental Health in a Master’s program. In addition to her writing, Kaz is a voice actor for commercial, animation and narration work and loves to apply that skill when she reads our books out loud!
Nancy’s interest (and BS) in child development fueled her fascination for children’s books. And for years, she has supported non-profit organizations focused on women and children. When Nancy’s not writing or instructing clients in her busy Pilates studio, she’s hiking or endlessly gardening.
We always make time to get to our favorite place for inspiration – the beach.
